Nestled somewhere between Windsor and Staines on the A308, and only about 10 miles from Heathrow Airport, Old Windsor has become somewhat of a by-pass for motorists wishing to avoid the M25 car park whilst traversing between the M3 and M4 motorways. The villiage sits on the doorstep of the Windsor Great Park where a certain amount of peace and tranquility can be achieved unless of course Concord has jolly well just taken off.
